UrinaryMet - a dog preparation containing L-Methionine, a substance that lowers urine pH. UrinaryMet reduces the formation of urinary struvite stones (magnesium ammonium phosphate crystals). Struvite crystals are precipitated in high pH urine. The action of UrinaryMet paste is to reduce the pH of urine - it has an acidifying effect.

Use

Small dogs - 1 tablet a day
Medium-sized dogs - 2 tablets a day
Large dogs - 3 tablets a day

Recommended duration of use - up to 6 months. The preparation should be administered with a meal. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use.
ATTENTION! - When using the preparation, urine pH should be checked regularly and veterinary diets with the same effect must not be used at the same time. This may cause the urine pH to drop too much and other urinary crystals to precipitate. As a consequence, calcium oxalates (oxalates) - insoluble urinary stones - may be formed.
